For the last twenty-five years Richard Forrest has focused his legal practice exclusively in the area of accountant liability and professional licensing and regulatory issues. His clients range from solo practitioners to international accounting firms and staff accountants to controllers of publicly-traded companies.
Mr. Forrest has defended hundreds of lawsuits involving audit, tax, and consulting services ranging in claim size up to $13 billion. He has counseled and defended employee whistleblowers and regularly advises accountants on claim prevention.

For ten years Mr. Forrest authored an approved ethics course required by rules of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy for certification and licensing as a certified public accountant in Texas and presented that course to thousands of CPAs and CPA candidates.
In 1998 Mr. Forrest founded the law firm that is now Forrest Law Group, P.C. in Houston, Texas.
